How Great Is Your Love?
Saturday, 7 April 2012 at 22:57

So while responding to Steph unnie's comment on my previous post, I filtered through her posts (dang woman, have you become a hardcore Inspirit or something? LOL I kid ^^) and I came across this video!

And it just made me smile the whole way through. Screw T-ARA and Infinite, I focused on the kids the whole time and they were just too cute for words! They're definitely strong, beautiful, gorgeous, amazing, cute.. I don't know, I just think they're beautiful. To see them enjoy themselves as they do, it's heartwarming.

For kids like them to smile, to not care about the world and it's opinions, it must be nice, hm? And for someone like me, who is pessimistic as hell, I think it'd be nice. I've always wanted to go and do some volunteer work, whether it be in the hospital or in the orphanage, but I want to make a positive change in someone else's life, even if I can't make a positive change in my own. Don't ask, it's a long, complicated story.

So far, I'm only able to donate blood. I missed out on it last year because when my school went, I was still fifteen (I'm an October child, remember that), and I practically never leave the house, so going with my parents isn't an option. My friends were planning to go but never told me the details, so I don't know if they ever went or not.. and yeah.

But I'm determined to do something when I turn 18. I'm determined to put myself out there and help these kids. I know it might be horrible that I only want to help kids, but I personally think that because they're young, they need to gain the strength now, because our world is cruel. It's harsh, and it's horrible. I'm not saying that the elderly don't need any attention, it's just that these kids will probably live longer than the elderly, and who knows what they might come across in their journey through life?

I don't know, that's just my opinion, so if you want to bash; bash. I'm entitled to my opinion as much as you are to yours.

I don't know if you can call me selfish, but I've saved this video. Just because it makes me smile, meaning whenever I feel down, I'm going to watch it. Because I feel content by seeing other people smile, by listening to other people enjoy life, by seeing and hearing them laugh, even though I don't feel content with myself.

Is that selfish of me? Wanting to see people smile just so that I feel better about this life?

I wonder.
