Candy and Mirotic?
Saturday, 7 January 2012 at 23:15

Wow I'm back already. Okay, so I found a video of Teen Top dancing to H.O.T's 'Candy', and while I was watching it, I realised how much of the song I actually knew the dance to, cause I was dancing to the whole thing with them, LOL. Which then led to me finding videos like this...

...Yeah, I haven't finished watching SNSD's 'Hello Baby', so this just made me laugh. They're so cute! But the song is cute, energetic and childish, and I guess after watching so many groups perform it, you learn the dance eventually.

Watching SNSD dance to that actually made me think of what songs I grew up with in my childhood, and I remember clearly, two of them were 'Who Let The Dogs Out' by Baha Men, and 'Strawberry Kisses' by Nikki Webster, and this was way back in 2001! Sometime later, around 2004 - 2006, I remember I used to listen to heaps of Avril Lavigne, cause she used to be on the radio so often! That probably explains why I like her so much, haha! I used to listen to Vanilla Ice's 'Ice Ice Baby' heaps too, as well as MC Hammer's 'U Can't Touch This'! Lipps Inc's 'Funky Town' is another song I used to listen to really often in the car. Michael Jackson and Robbie Williams were some other artists, and the list just goes on! What kind of songs did you guys listen to in your childhood?

Now that I listen to a lot of Asian music, I think I started to dislike English music around 2008. But it's not like I hate it entirely, I just think that a majority of English music around and before 2008 is better than the music we have now. I just think that it's really repetitive and could be improved, instead of people singing about themselves having a hang over, or missing others when they're breathing (when are you not breathing?). You can't say I'm a complete hater though! I still listen to English music!

While on that topic, I found these videos linked to the SNSD one! Don't know why, but yeah, oh well, I'm not complaining. :3

And I just have to say, as amazing as these covers are, they're lacking something that only DB5K has. I don't know what it is, but when I watch these covers, I feel like they're missing something. I mean, any group that covers a DB5K song, I will forever love you, but I think there's always going to be something missing from the performance, and I can't put my finger on it, anyone know what it is?

...I miss DB5K...

I shall sign off for now and work on my affiliate button(s). I don't know how many I'm making, and who I want to feature just yet, haha! Always keep the faith guys!
